About Us

Founded in 2023 by a registered nurse based in Gatineau, our private nursing clinic offers routine healthcare focused on disease prevention and health promotion. We specialize in sexual, physical, and mental health, and our services are available at home, through pharmacies, or directly at the clinic.

Santé Fede Inc.'s mission is to offer a concrete solution to the challenges caused by staff shortages and budget cuts in public health services. The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated difficulties in accessing care, while simultaneously reducing the quality of services, despite tax increases. Committed to maintaining the integrity and quality of care, the founder chose to create her own clinic, allowing her to remain true to her calling and proudly serve the community.

Vision, mission and values

Our vision is to make healthcare more accessible to the population. To be closer to the community, we offer our clients various locations where they can access our services, including pharmacies. This allows clients to receive their care, medication, and follow-up appointments within a reasonable timeframe and all in one place.

With the motto "The missing piece of your health", our clinic's mission is to:

  • Promote client autonomy by providing the necessary tools to manage their illness through education and positive reinforcement;
  • To build a healthy society through prevention and health promotion directly in the community;
  • Supporting various healthcare professionals through the sharing of nursing knowledge.

Our values:

  • Defending the rights and interests of customers;
  • Humanizing health care and services;
  • Supporting the client and the multidisciplinary team.

Dr. Nicholas Bédard, Medical Director

A 1996 graduate in family medicine from the University of Ottawa, Dr. Bédard is a compassionate physician and passionate entrepreneur dedicated to health and well-being. Leading the formation of the first Family Medicine Group (GMF) in the Outaouais region, he founded a women's health clinic, a sexual health clinic, and the Global Health Foundation, working to ensure access to quality services for vulnerable populations. As a consultant for the Integrated Health and Social Services Centre of the Outaouais (CISSSSO), he has also contributed to the development of numerous services for the population. In 2005, driven by a desire to optimize resources for comprehensive healthcare services, Dr. Bédard founded his multidisciplinary health center. A physician and entrepreneur, he continually seeks solutions to maximize resources and improve the physical, psychological, and social well-being of individuals. His keen interest in women's health led him to become the medical director of Clinique Santé Fede, where he offers his expertise, support, and guidance to help women and men rebuild their self-esteem and thrive both physically and mentally.
